Slow Design is a Florentine studio that reimagines everyday objects with an approach that is at once artisanal, poetic, and contemporary. Made in Italy, their creations play with memory, time, and the beauty of antique objects, standing at the crossroads of nostalgia and modernity.

Among their iconic creations, the Libri Muti—"mute books"—collection transforms the great classics of literature into blank notebooks. Orlando, Madame Bovary, The Flowers of Evil, Moby Dick, The Divine Comedy, Peter Pan... The titles remain, but the words disappear to make room for your own.

Born from a collaboration with a traditional Florentine typography studio, these notebooks combine traditional printing and binding techniques with a decidedly contemporary detail: a hand-painted edge. Each bound notebook contains 320 blank pages of acid-free PEFC paper and is made in Italy.
