Slow Design is a Florentine studio that reimagines everyday objects with an approach that is at once artisanal, poetic, and contemporary. Made in Italy, its creations play with memory, time, and the beauty of vintage objects, balancing somewhere between nostalgia and modernity.

Among its signature creations, the Libri Muti—"mute books"—collection transforms the great classics of literature into blank notebooks. Orlando, Madame Bovary, The Flowers of Evil, Moby Dick, The Divine Comedy, Peter Pan... The titles remain, but the words vanish, leaving space for your own.

Born from a collaboration with a traditional Florentine print shop, these notebooks combine traditional printing and binding techniques with a decidedly contemporary detail: a hand-painted edge. Each bound notebook contains 320 blank pages of acid-free PEFC paper and is made in Italy.
