Each piece comes from the village of Tunis, an oasis two hours from Cairo where pottery has become, since the 1980s, the entire life of the village. Shaped on a kick wheel from Aswan clay, hand-painted on white glaze, their palm trees and other motifs have become iconic and we never tire of them!
