Each piece comes from the village of Tunis, an oasis two hours from Cairo where pottery has been the lifeblood of the village since the 1980s. Thrown on a kick wheel from Aswan clay, hand-painted on a white glaze, their palm trees and other motifs have become iconic and we never tire of them!
