Founded in 1968 in the heart of Wales, Hafod Grange is a craft-based company specializing in the creation of Resin paperweight containing real, natural flowers . Each specimen is hand-picked, carefully dried, and then meticulously encapsulated in a sphere of perfectly crystalline resin. The crystalline polyester resin is chosen for its exceptional transparency, strength, and durability. It allows the flowers to be preserved in a virtually pristine state, as if frozen in time. Poured in several stages to avoid any air bubbles, the resin protects the flowers while highlighting every detail – petals, stems, veins… Once hardened, it is sanded and polished by hand, achieving an appearance as clear as glass, while being much lighter and stronger.
