Jamini is a Franco-Indian brand founded in Paris in 2009 by Usha Bora, originally from the state of Assam in India. It offers a range of lifestyle, decoration and textile accessories, made entirely by hand using traditional techniques - handloom weaving, block printing, embroidery - by local artisans.
Jamini supports 175 artisan families in Assam, promoting their economic empowerment and the preservation of ancestral know-how. The use of natural materials, plant-based dyes (indigo, turmeric, madder), and respectful processes such as Eri silk, meaning "peace," gives the brand an eco-responsible dimension.
