Founded in Paris in 2008 by stylist Pascale Bertea, Room Service draws on her travels and her taste for antique jewelry to compose decidedly bohemian collections: a mix of stones and colors, references to ancestral craftsmanship, long necklaces, amulets, and charms to layer. The semi-precious stones - tourmaline, turquoise, onyx, amazonite, freshwater pearls - are hand-cut and set by artisans in Jaipur, the 24-karat gold plating is done in Paris, and the final assembly takes place in the boutique-workshop at 52 rue d'Argout. Hand-cutting makes each piece slightly different from the next.
